Helen Bond BSc.(Hons) SRD, MBDA
Consultant Dietitian and Public Relations Adviser
Helen Bond is one of the leading Dietitians in the UK and will be speaking on behalf of British Fruit Juice Association (BFJA) on Moments that Matter: Identifying consumption opportunities and incorporating 100% fruit juice into the diet for better diet quality and health
What will this session discuss?
There are a number of moments in the day when drinking one small glass of orange juice can contribute to a healthy lifestyle. A single 150ml daily serving can help patients achieve their five-a-day, while vitamins in orange juice can help enhance the nutritional content of the foods they eat. Helen Bond will discuss how, and why, patients can benefit from consuming fruit juice at these moments, seeing them as opportunities to form a healthy habit.
About Helen - Helen graduated in 1996 with a 2:1 BSc. Honours degree in Dietetics from Queen Margaret University, Edinburgh, having incorporated six months studying dietetics and applied biology at the Université des Science et Technologies in Lille, France.
In 2000, she started her own business and took on the position of Consultant Dietitian. She currently provides assistance to several top name food companies, Public Relations (PR) consultancies and marketing agencies, is the nutrition voice for BBC Radio Derby, a spokesperson for the British Dietetic Association and is regularly quoted in the national, consumer and health professional press.
