The ups and downs of life are many. Days can be so different.

Struggles are required in order to survive in life, Because in order to stand up, You have got to know what falling down is like.

We need the sun and the rain in order for things to grow. Life is a mix.

Some random thoughts, or do they have meaning.

    What do you think?

I think some folks on DCUK should take heed of that one Eddie rather than painting low carbers as extreme diet fascists for trying to help.

The NHS should be preserved but it's not a bottomless pit. It is currently struggling as there are too many using the services and not enough new infrastructure. I think the question we have to ask is are we prepared to pay more for it ? I would but not the way it is currently run. The money wasted is unbelievable.

I agree Mo money is wasted, but we waste £billions on Nuclear weapons and submarines etc. The threat is from terrorists and subs ain't going to stop the fanatics and nutters. We need far more Police on the street, and a much fairer society. Too few have it all and far too many have nots never ends well.

I agree Eddie. There is a huge amount of money wasted elsewhere, Defence etc but much of it has no direct daily influence on me. The NHS does. You could say spend the money wasted on submarines etc and give it to the NHS but this too would only be a temporary fix. The framework is all wrong and throwing money at it helps but there are limits.
I hope you're right on where our future threats lie. Currently it is terrorism but I have grave concerns over what is going on in Ukraine, Korea etc. Someday soon, difficult choices are going to need to be made. I hold dearly our NHS and it's values. I truly hope the right decisions are made.
