To be fair, they have a population of 30,000. We should have beat them 10-0 !

Not that I'm an expert on football but perhaps we should have scored more goals. What got me was in a pre match interview the Manager didn't seem that convinced we would win Rolling Eyes

Sometimes it makes you realise the fun of watching the grandchildrens Saturday Morning Football !

I decided not to go to watch our local team Forest Green Rovers who were playing away at Bristol Rovers. I should have gone with my husband and son because FGR won 1-0!

I won't waste time talking about Arsenal today Sad Rolling Eyes

Yes Jan I was jumping about lots.  We also walked miles during the 2 days we were away.

Got back from Brussels late last night. Rubbish game, great result, amazing 2 minutes:   Very Happy

We got off the tube before the match and couldn't find the ground, asked a shopkeeper and he said 'par là' and pointed. So we walked to the park and went round the lake to the right. This apparently was the way the Anderlecht fans had to go, so we made our way the other way round the lake, finally found the ground, had tickets inspected several times and then were sent to the wrong entrance. Found the right entrance but weren't allowed in. Found an official from Arsenal and she took us to the right entrance again and they let us in to wait for ages.

I had to queue separately because there was a ladies entrance lol there were about 20 women and 1080 men! The facilities were awful, the ladies' loo was a portaloo and the men's were just very old urinals. The refreshments were like those at a smaller club in the Conference. Forest Green's facilities are 10 times better. The seats were OK, but not enough leg room to actually sit on them (much worse, even, than the away end at Old Trafford).

Being kept in for 15 minutes (singing) and then being escorted to the underground station and then through the station to the train by police with dogs and police in riot gear was the best bit. The atmosphere was brilliant. There were also lots of police on horseback escorting us from the ground. lol the horses were more trouble than the fans, they kept getting spooked by the singing. One panicked and charged through us at one point.

Great trip! Very Happy bounce Very Happy

Well, I don't support them but must say, West Ham are having a great season ! Great result against Man City. I follow Chelsea as I've been a few times but not a massive football supporter.
