Check out this presentation from the British Dietetic Association, it clearly demonstrates they have no common policy, and one of the reasons the NHS stats show no improvement for diabetics year after year. Count how many times the presenter says "we don't know" One thing is for sure regarding diabetes, the BDA is clueless.

I just wondered how many of our members have seen a dietician for their diabetes or any other related illness?

    What are your thoughts ......

I had a phone call not long after diagnosis. Told her that her recommendations sent my blood sugar up into 20s if I ate bread etc, that I didn't want to do Desmond and that was that. Never heard from one since. I am basically left to my own devices by surgery etc.  At present am grateful for such small mercies!
