About 14 years ago I had a sigmoidoscopy they found a couple of polyps so I was told they needed to do a colonoscopy to check for more, since then I've been on a three yearly recall I'm due again shortly. The actual procedure is not to bad it's the prep with the picolax

You might not, but I will! Dreadful stuff, by far the worst bit of the procedure. The advice I was given of 'Don't go too far from home was not good enough!'
