Post by Mud Island Dweller Tue Dec 23 2014, 20:58

Tonight dinner was home made stew with some extra mixed veg followed by a sneaky home made xmas pud the other half had made.
Now xmas pud is a very weak spot with me so l had a large chunk with half a small tub of "stand a spoon up in it" cream.

My intention was as soon as l showed a spike probably at 1hr l would jump on the exercise bike and use it to get the bloods down.

At 1hr my BG was 6.3 confused but ok so will wait for 2 hrs my BG is now 6.2

So do you recon it is going to be a delayed spike aka kick up the kyber pass and maybe hit me in about 3hrs l lam thinking l should keep testing how long do you think?
l am also tired and may fall asleep. It has been chaos last few weeks and now l am off work my body is taking a deep breath and unwinding.

Half a tub of thick cream has probably had an effect, I'd check again at three hours I don't think you'll get a big spike but might take a while for your BG to drop.

Bugger I'm bloody jealous I used to love Christmas Pud maybe an experiment is in order Neutral

Took it at 2hr 40mins and was 2.9 think this was a wrong call on amount of BS though because l decided to read in bed and keep taking bloods took it 15mins later and it was 2.3 l dont think it would have done that ...sadly there the experiment ended l fell asleep reading :-(

However this means l need to do a daytime one tomorrow at lunch l seriously want to know what is going on but was so tired last night no chance
