Oh I love Xmas ! Yes, it's too commercial but it's still a precious family time.

Re: Check In and Chat - December 2014
I go and watch our kids in all the plays etc, they never once got any speaking parts, they were extras at best, they didn't even sing when they were supposed to, I once had an angry bird incident, I was very bored and decided to play angry birds on my phone, it happened to be at a quiet moment when the angry birds theme blasted out across the hall and all the cooing parents/grandparents looked at me like they were going to murder me on the way out, my kids obviously inherited my love for theatre
Have fun!
And remember the mute button if you get bored

Great pic Jan, you must be very proud. What would we do without the old trusty tea towel eh ? The backbone of all great shepherd costumes :-)

Many thanks Mo ... I am very proud.
The laugh was when his mum and dad got the tea towel out for his headgear he made the comment 'that's a bit cheap isn't it?'. Had to be explained that shepherds back in those times (any time?) were not rich.
Ever since I can remember the tea towel has been official headgear for school plays.
@Zand yes he is gorgeous, and I hug him, and all my grandchildren at every opportunity
All the best Jan

Re: Check In and Chat - December 2014
We have resisted the need to put up Christmas trees etc - but tomorrow is the day!
The tree, Father Christmas ornament complete with reindeer etc ..... comes out of their respective boxes
Can't Wait !!
Have you got your decorations up yet - has Andy decorated his shed??
Post your pics if you have any .........
All the best Jan

Re: Check In and Chat - December 2014
My littlen has made loads a paper chains and snowflakes from plain white paper this year, she's spent hours and hours doing it, it's really nice
Our tree is up and even the geko tank has teeny baubles in its tree lol
The shed is decoration free though it's too perfect for sticky tape lol

@Andy12345 Surely there should be 2 sides to this 'deal'. What does Mo get if you happen to be the one popping your clogs?

My favourite TV show these days is Tattoos After Dark
Oddly I don't have any tattoos and don't have plans to get any, but I love watching what they do. They are very talented artists. I never miss it.
