Jan would have posted herself but her 90 year old dad was rushed into hospital last Friday and she has been spending a lot of time with him. She is back home tonight and her dad is doing very well and on the mend.

A very worrying time for all these past few days I'm sure but glad to hear that he's on the mend now and here's hoping for him to be back to his old self ASAP!

Thanks folks, yes he is doing well. He had a flu injection around a month ago and it knocked him for six. The bottom line is he became severely dehydrated, his blood pressure plummeted and he literally collapsed. The medics have been spotonski and he is back to giving out his orders and back in charge.
BTW he is a man that has never been ill before and eats a full English breakfast (less the eggs he doesn't like them) every day of his life. Main meal of the day, meat and five veg. I now eat what the people eat who are still around at a ripe old age, we all know it makes sense, why fight it?
