There is conflicting reports about the health benefits or harms of even small amounts of alcohol. Having a mess up liver like most diabetics have, I prefer to err on the safe side.

Yes, it is always important for each of us to do what we feel is best, and take health considerations into account.

I must admit I do enjoy a glass of wine with my meal, not necessarily every day … but I will have one tonight. Well it is Friday …  and when working a glass of wine was almost a celebration that the weekend was here or perhaps just a nice way to relax, and even though I'm now retired old habits die hard (as the saying goes).
