Noblehead forum of flogs number one liar!

I rarely ever go over to the forum of flog these days. I ignore almost all the posts, let’s face it, most threads and comments have been said a thousand times. Why check out the forum of flog? amusement is the straight answer. In small doses I like to have a laugh at the antics of the Bonkers one, Duggie and Phoenix et al, they never fail to disappoint.

Checking the usual suspects out today I see Phoenix is having a whine. What a pity she did not walk a long time ago. I always considered her to be the most dangerous low carb anti. Clearly well read and intelligent, with just enough truth in her posts to confuse the dull of mind. Her links to out of date, bent science, and low carb tomes of doom was highly accomplished. She was a sort of thinking man's crumpet, albeit she had a face like a tomahawk, and I suspect a smile from her was a memorable event. But enough of the personal insults, I’ll move on.


Bonkers appears to have done a Capt. Oates. Not seen since April. As always Nobblyhead has remained true to form. If ever a forum member anywhere in the world was a more detestable, lying, snivelling little rat, I have yet to hear of them. As long termers on the low carb scene know only too well, we exposed the duplicitous, snivelling little wretch years ago on our blog. Here we have Nobblyhead lying through his teeth, trying to win a few brownie points with the forum owner. No racist posts or comments have been posted here or on our blog. However, we did copy a post that appeared on the forum of flog and pasted it on our blog to highlight the very poor standard of moderating over there. This was a spoof post we believe made by the retard known as Dr.Jones. Banned from here under many false names.

Well known forum member Zand summed up the flog pretty well here. As she stated, we run an open forum here, albeit the worlds smallest.

Ah bless dear old phoenix getting bullied   strange she  makes no reference to when she was a member of kenny's gang of bullies when they were harassing low carbers, deleting and editing their posts then ultimately banning them for daring to complain.

Perhaps she should reflect just why she made so many enemies, though she's an insulin dependent T1.5 the majority of her time at DCUK was spent in the T2 low carb forum trying to convince us LCHF was dangerous providing links to misleading studies most of which definitely bore no relation to LC, her main aim though was to push a much debunked and useless for T2's low GI diet om the basis it worked for her but of course she uses insulin when most of us were using no meds or minimum metformin

If you have been following the forum of flog, a common theme runs through it like the letters of a stick of Blackpool rock. Almost from the start, and until the present day. The same small group of individuals, have been involved with the majority of locked threads, banned good members, and countless people railroaded off the forum. Some have been named on here, other arch trouble makers such as the cherub are also well known. It was ever thus, and I expect it will ever be thus, the big question is why?

It's my belief, nay a fact, freedom of speech at the flog has been ruthlessly shut down at the flog for years. How clearly so many people have been frightened into keeping quiet for fearing being banned. They have seen on countless occasions what happens to members who speak the truth and go against the clique and their many sock puppets, so often aided and abetted by idiotic or corrupt mods. The pathetic, and often caught lying administration could not run a whelk stall.

We have often invited the management and some of it's henchmen and women the chance to debate the issues, including meeting the owner, no chance of that of course, because they know full well we have the evidence, we have the screen shots etc. etc.

When all is said and done the forum has helped countless people including me and people here, but what it could have been, so many years wasted. Thems the breaks folks.

It would be nigh on impossible for me to list the low carbers that were bullied into leaving the DCUK forum and that's not including those that were banned by her moderator mates 

As for alternative views as I've said before her research was based on studies that were flawed, on her blog the gold standard appeared to be a rodent study were she commented "wonder what the low carbers will make of this", her personal experience does not extend to T2 though along with jopar   she proclaimed herself as an expert. 

I sure other insulin dependent members might welcome her alternative views apart that is those who low carb, I very much doubt though the T2 low carb forum would be enamoured by her interventions

The bottom line, the low carb antis lost big time. The outcome could have been no other way, we old freedom fighters knew we were onto a winner since the first day of the carb wars. All we ever promoted was a a healthy diet, cut out the sugar and the processed junk food carbs. Only a lunatic could have argued against a whole food fresh diet, but argue they did. Think about it this way, the antis pushed an eat what you like and cover it with meds lifestyle, who but a madman would scoff donuts and cover the huge BG spike with injected insulin.

The last thing big pharma wants is their biggest earners, diabetics, all going the low carb route. Clearly the flog owners can see financial mileage and the low carb way is the future. The low carb antis must be gutted, over ten years work for some of 'em down the drain. Nobblyhead arguably thicker than Sid still weasels about the joint, at least Sid had the good grace to do a Capt. Oates. Carb wars was an uphill battle for a long time, but by Jove it was fun at times. I for one am going to miss the ravings of the antis. These days the fun is in watching the leftie snowflakes (give us more free stuff) taking on the far right (neo Nazi) knuckle draggers. I haven't got a dog in that fight, but interesting times ahead.

Over time I've used the ADA Forum, which if anywhere you'd think would be most anti-low-carb and most likely to be moderated with a heavy hand but in fact hardly anyone ever got banned there or their posts deleted or even edited. Likewise for all the other diabetes forums I've read and in some cases posted to. NONE OF THEM have anything like the same amount of moderation, banning and deleting as DCUK.

I notice we get a whole bunch of anonymous visitors here after dark. Is it dieticians coming out of their wardrobes after the sun has set, or Yanks or other foreigners?
