From clique member Jopar today...My italics

"A diabetic can eat a normal diet, so choosing to eat a specific diet is down to personal choice..."

Would the normal diet be the 'Eatwell' plate by any chance? That's all good for you Jopar considering you're on an insulin pump!! For type 2's,eating a specific diet as you put it,is NOT simply a 'Personal choice',it is essential if long term diabetic complications are to be avoided...Please stick to the type 1/pump forums Jopar I would suggest.

From the same post "I asked the counter assistant if he would put half portions on the plate as I wouldn't be able to eat it all, it didn't enter my mind to ask or expect them to reduce the price for me...."

Not much has entered Jopar's mind in the seven years a flog member and fired in disgrace mod. She is the only member that made Sid look like a highbrow intellectual.  Unlimited test strips, insulin, a pump and rubbishes low carb for type two's and many cannot get a prescription test strip.

Anyone remember when she stated the NHS was wasting money on type two's and they should be spending the money on type one's. Very clear to see why she was a made a mod at the flog. How she got fired is a miracle. Future admin material I reckon. facepalm

I do,back in 2012 when she pissed off loads of members on that thread by implying that all type 2's were a "Burden on the NHS" Lot's of people demanded an apology but of course, they didn't get one out of the most rudest female member on the forum. Evil or Very Mad
