Sorry Paul this is the quote of the day on the same thread from Anna the banner.

"No divisons allowed here nor personal attacks - please see the forum rules on this .
A them and us mentality or personal attacks - is against the forum rules ."

What planet is she and her fellow corrupt mods and the low carb anti clique living on? The majority of the forum members have been pro low carb for years, it is the aforementioned bunch that has brought about division, personal attacks and discord for years.

What larks as Dillinger often says.

Yes Eddie, also a couple of us on that thread were using 'labels' descriptively not with any 'us and them' intentions. It's often useful to differentiate in discussions between T1 and T2 or those who follow LCHF and those who don't, it doesn't need to be divisive. From the comments on that thread it doesn't seem like even that is allowed now. The phrase 'we are all different' is often used, how divisive is that? So I will no longer be able to say to a T1 newbie " Hi, welcome to the forum, I'm afraid I can't help as I'm T2......" because that would surely be divisive too? So I'll have to say "Welcome to the forum have a virtual hug from me"

The latest from Anna the Banner...My bold

"When a debate or discussion transfers or escalates into bickering via
deeply or strongly felt opinions and veiw points .
It loses its tone of respectful varied points that many in an
audience to a thread wish to confer and make .

This thread has come close to this - but as it is the soapbox forum .
There is more flexibility allowed to voice your say , opinions granted .
I have made generous allowance for this within this thread as your senior moderator
    .

However if you feel there is offence material within posts here.
Please PM me on this ."

All hail the generous god that is the 'Senior moderator' and worship this act of generosity and thank yourself blessed that you did not incur the wrath on this occasion...freakout

Daisy liked it, any-time soon Nobblyhead will like it, grovelling little weasel lol!

The forum of flog sinks ever deeper into the mire. For once in their lives the mods get a glimmer of power and authority, it is sad really. Meanwhile the owners make the money and the power drunk hardly ever get a thank you. When Ian checks out the antis will have full control, or so they believe.

The reality is the antis lost the war a long time ago, as the case for over six years, almost all the good news is talking about low carb. It will ever be thus.
