(Sept. 24, 2015) – Type 2 diabetes is an epidemic, but a local doctor says lowering the amount of carbs you eat can make a major difference.
Dr. Sarah Hallberg with Indiana University Health Arnett says recommendations from the American Diabetes Association of 40-65G of carbs every meal are part of the problem.
Hallberg is conducting a weight loss clinical trial to study how low carb diets could help treat diabetes. Click here for more information about the trial.
