Well 10 years ago I ate all of the 10 on the worst food list regularly. Now there's just one category that I sometimes have and that's no. 8 processed meat.

I could do better with no's 1, 4 and 9 on the good list though. I hate eggs, I so wish I liked them. I have fish oil because I don't like oily fish much. I like yoghurt but don't have it much.

So thanks for this list Eddie, it's nice to know I've been moving in the right direction.

Thankfully I've never liked Pot Noodle or doughnuts. Smile

    Everything in moderation... affraid

But I do eat something in the 'Naughty list' under #8 As I do like to eat German Salami or Chorizo at least once a week but it's really good on my BG's. Smile

I am tempted to print this out for my hubby. He is always confused about what I can and cannot eat. I do love bacon and have tried to find nitrate free stuff but haven't had any luck in the UK.

Yes it's bacon that's my downfall in that category too, with corned beef occasionally too.

I forgot to add bacon and corned beef in my post too! I have to go with cost so I just go with regular smoked bacon, they're great on my BG's too and it's the BG's that I worry about first rather than the Nitrates if I'm being honest.

I do have the #8s in my fridge and eat them!
I also have a shelf full of Konjac noodles. They make them in shapes of Angel Hair, Spaghetti, Wok noodles (pad thai) and rice. They have less than 1g carb per 125g serve and make a great change from cauli rice or zucchini noodles. I love a clear broth with shredded veggies and cooked chicken pieces dropped in served over a bed of these noodles for lunch. They just need to be rinsed and are pre-cooked.
Oh and I do have a low carb recipe for donuts. Don't think I am deprived in any shape or form.
