Sainsbury's are now stocking grain free granola from The Paleo Foods Co. ( established 10,000 BC)

    http://www.sainsburys.co.uk/

Expensive at £5.75 for 340g but at 6.8g carbs per serving an option to consider.

Decided to give a try and I like it Very Happy I've bought the honey and pecan granola and use almond milk and a good slug of double cream (well I do need to keep the calories up Wink) makes for a quick breakfast now the school holidays have started and I need to be out early morning to look after my grandkids bitenails

BG results 5.7 fasting, 6.5 at ninety minutes 6.0 at two hours Very Happy

I am going to give this a try, if the BG numbers stand up, it could be another great piece of nosh to add to the armoury. This could prove very useful when my slave err...Jan is away, I hate cooking in the morning. run

Go for it Eddie but you must realise it's expensive at £5.75 for 340g which is 8 servings, did you know that Kellogg's cornflakes are only £2 for a 750g packet and using Sids portion control that would equate to 44 servings Shocked

I /We have been meaning to try this out ever since you first posted details back in July.

Today it was on my shopping list but alas it was not on our Sainsbury's shelves Sad

... perhaps I'll have to make our own, this is a good recipe
