Grill a gammon rasher (in my case half a gammon rasher as it was enormous).
When the second side is nearly done, grate a load of cheese on top and grill until browning.
Delicious with broccoli and a mushroom fried in EVOO.
I got the idea from Jan, either here or on the blog. Last time I tried it I used
Wells Alpine, a delicious local cheese but it didn't take kindly to cooking. This time I used Co-Op cheddar. If I could I'd have used Irish cheddar but it has gone off the shelf.
