If you've been reading our blog or this Forum you will know that pink is my favourite colour. Well it's also our youngest grandchild's favourite colour too... and here she is looking so pretty in pink.

She's three years old and has been brought up on a lower carb lifestyle (not to the extent of myself or Eddie) but she has enjoyed whole fresh foods prepared lovingly for her by her mother. Things like chicken, gammon, broccoli, carrots, cucumbers, avocados, prawns, scrambled eggs, cheese, whole fat milk, strawberries, blueberries, grapes, cherries .... the list of foods she likes is long. Things like crisps and sweets are kept to a minimum as a treat not an every day occurrence.

When growing up, as a baby, whole fresh foods were cooked, prepared, pureed as appropriate and kept in small yogurt type pots, and even in ice cube trays to be thawed and ready for use when required. Preparation has always been key, as it is in anyone's low carb lifestyle.

Whether you be young or that bit older ... it just makes sense to me to live the LCHF lifestyle, and as Eddie would say "You know it makes sense why fight it!"

    All the best Jan
