If memory serves Sarah has struggled for a long time to get good control, it's a bloody shame, but what can anyone do? She has spent a long time on the forum and must have read what others have done to hold non diabetic numbers. I have mates who drink and drive, they tell me OK Edd we've got the message, so I shut up these days. Trust me, that ain't no easy gig for me.

True Eddie,She has often posted that "Not everyone wants to or needs to low carb" or "I don't like the food"...Her decision of course but she has reported being on insulin as well as several type 2 drugs at the same time and still reports Bg's in the high 20's...She's now asking about complications and if they're inevitable if the BG control is long therm out of control...I REALLY HOPE the low carb message will sink in one day as it would seem that she's not happy with her control and maybe a bit worried now...I do hope she will see the light but no-one can force her I guess.

She will probably check out riddled with diabetic complications. I hope I am 100% wrong. We are all going to check out, but hopefully with our bodies in one piece and mind intact.

One statistic I can quote and know I am 100% right, on a long enough timeline the survival rate for all of us is nil.

She also posed this question today in a thread started by her, I'm afraid she is going to find out the consequences of her actions the hard way.

"If a person has uncontrolled blood sugars is it always an absolute definite you will have complications of some sort?"
