2015 World Diabetes Summit Empty 2015 World Diabetes Summit

Post by LowCarbDietitian Thu Feb 05 2015, 04:35

    Hi Everyone,

I'm not sure if this is the right place to post this, so I'd appreciate Eddie or another admin moving it to the appropriate section of the forum.

For those of you who don't know me, my name is Franziska Spritzler, and I'm a dietitian and certified diabetes educator who believes in a low carb, whole foods approach to managing diabetes and prediabetes. I'm very honored to be included among the list of notable speakers at this year's World Diabetes Summit, which will be held online from March 23-30. Although not every speaker is an advocate of carbohydrate restriction, many of them are, including Dr. Richard Bernstein, Dr. Jason Fung, Dr. David Perlmutter, Dr. Brian Mowll, Professor Richard Feinman, Professor Caryn Zinn, and others.

The Diabetes World Summit will cover:
Causes of type 1 and type 2 diabetes
Preventing and stopping the progression of diabetes
10 most important things to help reverse type 2 diabetes
Optimal diet to prevent, control and reverse type 2 diabetes
Most effective forms of exercise for optimal blood sugar control
Special information for Type 1 Diabetes management and care

If you haven't already registered for this free event, you can sign up here:
    https://vj173.infusionsoft.com/…/summitreg/LOWCARBDIETITIAN/

Thank you, and I look forward to seeing you at the summit!

Hi Franziska, thanks for the great info. Sounds like something we'd be very interested in following.
Like Andy, I too can't see how to log in/sign up ? I tried to register but still got a message to "sign is as you normally do and we'll guide you through the steps" ? Thanks, Mo :-)

So sorry about that, everyone! When I copied the link over from my Facebook page, it looks like some of the text got replaced with ellipses. Here is the correct link:

    https://vj173.infusionsoft.com/go/summitreg/LOWCARBDIETITIAN/

    Thanks for understanding Smile

And yes, you can view the summit from your computer, tablet, or other electronic device. Unfortunately, some of the interviews may take place a little later in the evening than those of you on the other side of the pond care to stay up. And while the live sessions are completely free, I believe archived interviews will be available for purchase after the summit is over.

Thanks so much, Eddie and fellow low-carbers!

I for one am looking forward to seeing and hearing more from the summit.

I know it's primarily for 'diabetes' BUT so many more people, and illnesses, would benefit from a LCHF lifestyle. Take epilepsy for example ...... LCHF can and does help many but that leap of faith has to be taken  Smile

Well with all the news about the very successful LCHF Conference in Cape Town earlier this year don't forget the 'World Diabetes Summit, which will be held online from March 23-30. Although not every speaker is an advocate of carbohydrate restriction, many of them are, including Dr. Richard Bernstein, Dr. Jason Fung, Dr. David Perlmutter, Dr. Brian Mowll, Professor Richard Feinman, Professor Caryn Zinn, Franziska Spritzler and others.

The Diabetes World Summit will cover:

10 most important things to help reverse type 2 diabetes
Optimal diet to prevent, control and reverse type 2 diabetes
Most effective forms of exercise for optimal blood sugar control
Special information for Type 1 Diabetes management and care'

Have a look through earlier posts for online details.  flower
