Another 60mins on the treadmill today whilst at work. Been a pretty quite day. Had some training on reversing trailers, that's not as easy as it looks lol ! Food has been light, thai chicken curry soup for lunch. Dinner tonight is fish with Irish caviar ( well, baked beans ).

Hi Im a newbie here. Hope you'll succeed Mo but what I don't get is the beer apple and other high carb low fat stuff? I thought low carbing lead to a fat-balanced diet?

Jeez, don't I love beer so I can have the occasional one or more?

Hi Turnip, agree on the beer buddy, that's why if you read from the start, I've quit. As for an apple, high carb ? Really ? Take care :-)

Another 10K on the rower today and a walk into town to see my podiatrist. I go there every 2 or 3 months and it's a nice little pampering session, my feet always feel great after.
Tonight having roast chicken with green beans and roast carrots. I cooked the chicken ! This may not sound much, trust me, it is :-)

Weigh in today and quite happy. Jan 16th I was 250.6lb ( with new scales that added 7lbs grr ! ), today I am 245.8lbs which is a 4.8lbs loss in less than a week.
Another steady 10K on the rower today. How is everyone else doing ?

Didn't get a chance for a workout today. I had to take my daughters fiance into hospital for day surgery on his knee. So, with my daughter still unwell, it came at a very bad time lol ! Left them both this afternoon flaked out on settee, both hardly able to climb the stairs ! Gonna be a busy weekend again. I hope they remember this when I'm old and wrinkled and they don't just leave me to fester !!!

60mins on treadmill yesterday and HR recovery has improved slightly. Busy today as out cleaning windows all day with a mate, hands are like ice ! Painful at times. Not missing a beer at all, still loving my Pellegrino. Light lunch today, vanilla yoghurt with an apple. Will have a weigh in at the weekend. Hope everyone else are achieving or coming close to their goals.

You are doing well Mo ......bet it was cold outside today! I wrapped up well for my walk, and I think the wind chill is going to get worse as the week progresses. Mind you New Yorkers are battening down their hatches tonight I think they have a lot of snow in their forecast.

Keep up the great work  Smile

Thanks Jan. Managed 75mins on the rower today which was nice. Watched half of The Equaliser ( Denzil Washington ). Decent movie. Had a weigh in today and gone from 250.6lbs Jan 16th to 243.2lbs today. So, lost 7.4lbs in 10 days. Very happy with that. Dinner this evening was sausages, fried leeks and roasted parsnips !

Edward Woodward is quality name but I went to school with a kid named Tony Babboloni ! Best name ever !
Today I played squash for over an hour which I haven't played in ages. Nice change to the rower & treadmill. Very light lunch and meatballs for dinner. I've got company at the weekend which makes things a little tougher to stick with my regime. Mother-in-law up so I'll be dragged round garden centres and tea rooms !! She's here for nearly a week !!!! HELP !!!!!

Do you know why Edward Woodward has so many d's in his name?

Well otherwise he'd be E-war Woo-war which doesn't have the same gravity...

    Sorry, I'll get my coat.
