A slice of dry bread is also very good for mopping up all those tiny bits of glass you can't see when you accidentally drop a glass or a bottle.

Firstly, I have never been to AA! 
Secondly, no I haven't started drinking again and don't intend to.
Thirdly, it's not normally me who drops the glasses or bottles, it's the clumsy oaf trying to 'help' in the kitchen
Lastly, now give us a kiss and I'll forgive you for that dreadful slur on my character.
