Most people go happily through life and don't give a great deal of thought to big organisations that advise governments or the NHS on matters concerning nutrition, until they become ill and realise diet can have profound effects on our well-being. So, you have a Google around and start picking up some information. Very often you read an article and you think, that seems odd, or why do they recommend that. Some times the advice seems illogical, even downright dangerous, certainly not in your best interest. Then you start to learn, very little is what it first appears to be, so often huge multi-nation food or pharmaceutical outfits are calling the shots. I call these organisations, Black Ops outfits. Here are just a few.

However, the organisation's 39 members, which contribute to its funding, include – beside the Government, the EU – Cadbury, Kellogg's, Northern Foods, McDonald's, PizzaExpress, the main supermarket chains except Tesco, and producer bodies such as the Potato Council. The chairman of its board of trustees, Paul Hebblethwaite, is also chairman of the Biscuit, Cake, Chocolate and Confectionery Trade Association.

    The European Food Information Council

ermm we have a small craft bakery making cakes and biscuits but l always say l am t2 so can not eat the goodies. l am aware of the conflict but as we do 1 farmers market a month and hub goes round industral estates on the bike 3 lunch times a week l dont think we are causing a big ripple in the health and food market.
And our prices do curb a lot ...you want £1 but l can get 2 packets for that.
Our reply ours are hand made not full of nasty chemicals yes sugar but so rich one is more than enough where as l could munch in the old days a full packet of bourbons.
