Although I have kept to the low carb straight and narrow for years I have been remiss on the physical activity front for the last six months or so. With this in mind I have recruited a full-time personal trainer. I am hoping she will get me off the sofa and lose a few pounds. Her name is Dolly Castro and no blubber on her for sure.

For over eight years my diabetes medication has not changed. My weight has remained stable, I have suffered no ill effects from my diet whatsoever. Every blood test has proved, I took the right road to my diabetic salvation. For almost seven years, I have asked medical professionals and naysayers, how do I maintain non diabetic BG levels on two Metformin other than low carb ? The silence has been deafening !

At my age all that sort of malarkey is a distant memory, don't get me wrong, everything still works, but give me a great meal and a bottle of Rioja any night of the week. Tucked up in my big warm bed, sleep is bliss.

If your going to keep this up (no pun intended) Eddie I think you really should have a medic with a defibrillator on stand by  Shocked

OK Graham I can't deny, but is that woman a cracker or what. A man must learn to appreciate art and human perfection when he sees it.
