Still on the wine theme - well why not?

Tesco have mini bottles of wine on offer at the moment buy any four for three, cheapest product free.

Could be a nice idea for a Christmas Tree Present / stocking filler. Prices are from £1-49 to £2-25.

    Happy Christmas Shopping Smile   santa

I think Morrisons prices are very good on a lot of products, I believe they will also match Aldi and Lidl?

But in Sainsburys - spotted they also have Lindt chocolate, from the 70%, 85%, and 90% dark chocolate - plus milk chocolate  affraid  2 for £3-00.

Can't be bad - buy your dark chocolate now ready for Christmas santa

Thanks for this info on very good priced kale. It really is good for us to eat kale - has loads of good nutrients.

Some say it's not easy to make kale chips but I think this link might be a good one.

Please let us know how your kale chips turn out.

    Many thanks and ........

Hi Jan, happy new year Very Happy

I tried the kale chips last night and they were very good! I sprinkled them with just salt when they were cooked. Will have to try them again with some of the flavourings mentioned in the link. Thanks.

That does seem a good price Sharon. I think each of us has to shop as best we can. I do think prices in general have come down a little in recent weeks - have others found this ?

Our fuel price is at 103.9 pence per litre but prices do fluctuate depending where you are. Why are motorways always the worst and highest price? Grrrrrrr

Just back from Home Bargains with a haul of pickled jalapeños. They are only 89p for a big 480g jar compared around £1.30 for a small 215g in the big supermarkets. I eat loads of them.

Also picked up a small wire whisk in a charity shop for 30p (they are £6 in M&S). The guy behind the counter asked me if I was making pancakes. When I told him it was for making salad dressing, he said, "Ooo how Mediterranean!" Like I was a weirdo. I am, but he doesn't know that tongue
