"We’re dedicated to supporting cutting-edge diabetes research and improving the lives of people with diabetes. We’ve been funding ground-breaking research for longer than 80 years which has been instrumental in improving diabetes care and moving us closer to a cure. New treatments and therapies can only be made available thanks to clinical trials."

    I hadn't noticed. Had you?

Of course I have the stats show the costs to the NHS for diabetes drugs has soared thanks to the research supported by DUK  Rolling Eyes

Yes it's a clusterfuck, the numbers of diabetics is going through the roof and the cost of the drugs is following. Add in all those "prediabetics" which as David Ludwig pointed out aren't really pre-anything and, well, you can see where Jeremy Hunt's pension is going to come from.
