Researchers studied the dairy-eating habits of healthy French-Canadians' and monitored how dairy consumption may have an effect on their overall metabolic health. It's well known that dairy products contain calcium and minerals good for bones, but new research has shown that dairy consumption may also have beneficial effects on metabolic health and can reduce risk of metabolic diseases such as obesity and type 2 diabetes.

Trouble is, there's dairy and there's dairy.

There is a wealth of health benefits in raw, unpasteurised milk and milk products that are destroyed or denatured by pasteurisation.

Lactase enzymes that aid its digestion, vitamin K2, and some of the B vitamins, etc. are missing.  That makes much of our dairy an incomplete food.

Is it any wonder so many people have issues digesting it?

The French consume a lot of high-fat dairy, but the majority of it is unpasteurised.  Look how healthy they are in comparison.

The French do appear to eat a lot of high-fat dairy, which I think is good. A wonderful mix of cheeses and butter too.

....even milk to me should be full fat and not skimmed sunny

    All the best Jan
