Re: Smart Kids don't like McDonald's
I'm smugly pleased that neither of my boys (5 and 3) have ever eaten any fast food nor had coca-cola or any other fizzy drink.
They are both addicted to heroin mind, but you can't have everything.
Best

That was a joke! They could give it up any time they wanted...

For me this is what a diabetes forum should be about. Sound information when required, some good food recipes and food ideas, latest diabetes info and lots of fun. Us diabetics hear enough of the doom and gloom, depression can be a big issue for diabetics, so let's have a larf now and again.

Too right mate! Some days are diamonds and some days are stones in this crazy world so keeping a sense of humour is dead important and on the subject of having a laugh it reminded me of how much I LOL'd when I saw this piccie a couple of years back...
Wonder what happened to him eh?

Who knows what happened mate but ol' Jabba used to run a blog for low carb anti's to have a pop at all low carbers on the diabetes forums(All anonymously of course!) Many of us got a 'Good slagging off' on the blog by folks who knew us but wouldn't even post with a recognisable forum name...I used to get upset when I was mentioned but after a while I was happy to be slagged off as I knew I was obviously winding up the anti's! The blog hasn't had a post in 16 months now-we don't know what happened to the blog owner-some say his toaster blew up and now he is in shell shock, maybe he lost his password? Where's Scooby Doo and the mystery machine when you need 'em eh?
