What a shame to hear this sad news. No one worked harder for the low carb cause than Hana. Not only thousands of forum posts, but actively lobbied the likes of DUK at meetings to get dietary recommendations for diabetics improved. Although taunted by the usual suspects, she never rose to the bait, always maintaining her dignity. How many people she helped to a better place we will never know, but many were helped, including me and some of the members here. Hana was a one off, and will be sadly missed. I hope Hana is in a better place, she certainly earned it.

I am one of the many who owe a debt of gratitude to Hana.  When my husband and I were invited to join the T2D Club (him as a full member, me as a guest/associate) over two years ago, I looked to her posts for words of sanity and honesty.  It was a difficult time, coming to terms with the idea that the NHS and other "authorities" were wrong and "people on the internet" were right and were going to turn my husband's health round, not monitor a decline.  Thank you, Hana for your calm authority and for sharing your knowledge.

Yes she was a sweet soul and very knowledgeable.

I nearly threw up at the hypocricy of some of the replies though, the clueless fuckwits hammered her mercilessly while she was alive and I was always a little surprised she never got banned, that's how good she was!

    RIP and bless you, Hana.

Hi Chris I am glad you said it first, some may have thought I was going over the top, but you are right. This cowardly lying scum taunted her mercilessly at times, now made up to mods. None of them fit to clean Hana's shoes, and now spew their hypocritical bilge. If the Cherub and the Nobhead had an ounce of pride they would hang their heads in shame.
