I watched the VE Day concert on TV. What a great show. Alfie Bow was awesome !

Just back from Norfolk Coast for a few days with family ! Just look at our clever dog ! I never knew she could do handstands !

What a glorious day it was yesterday ... out in the fresh air, enjoying the sunshine.

Today according to one weather forecaster the UK is going to experience "proper rain" ..... I just wonder does this differ from just ordinary rain?

No rain here fortunately ! We've still got another Bank Holiday to look forward to again soon ! I'll be off-line for a week or so as off to Turkey but I promise to catch up as soon as I return ! Keep posting guys & gals :-)

Had an absolutely wonderful day today ...We were fortunate to spend time near the canal with our youngest grandson, and it goes without saying - but I will - care and caution was in our mind being near water with a young child.


We love having a walk canal-side. Life is slower, people always stop to talk and there is so much to see as you walk along the canal path.


Of course at the end of a lovely day spending time with your youngest grandson, walking by the canal and enjoying good company what could be better than a great tasting low carb meal?

Well I am in Warsaw. I have just been to a family wedding, which would have been wonderful I my hubby hadn't had too much vodka. This meant we had to leave early. Great!

I've always been more of a 'cottage garden' lover so when I saw these lupins I thought ... what beautiful colours.

Went to Wilanow Palace in Warsaw yesterday. The Hairy Bikers were there recording a new Baltic series. My sister in law was very happy as she loves their programs.
