i really dont know what to make of Paul being banned, it can only be because of him/you being mod on this forum, thats nuts, its run like one of these countries where people get beheaded for being gay or calling a teddy bear mohammed, its a forum, why would they make it a dictatorship? you can share views and experiences as long as you say the things we want you to? im done with it, such a shame that new people are subjected to that sort of censorship and being allowed to be trolled by lunatics like AnnieC and Douglas who should be ashamed of themselves, god help them, by posting i am supporting the regime, i cannot do that anymore, i withdraw my support with my absence, and will be forever grateful i found low carb, i hope in my heart newbies get the message, but if they go there it wont be from me im sorry to say, i just cant let it happen and be a part of it

He was a mod who went under the name of cugila he was well known for his banning people who had the temerity to disagree with him, post edits thread locking and deleting were commonplace in his day. So sorry to read these posts Paul. You always offered great advice and cheered a few up on the way. Their parting gift of "unsaviory and poisonous" is disgusting. No explanation just a random choice of nasty words. A permanent ban should at least be fully explained in my opinion. Whoever issued the ban is a coward and they should be ashamed of themselves. I'm just glad I walked away when I did and I understand how you feel Andy. The management at DCUK do not want to be associated with low carb and that is the real reason. So sad. Take care Paul :-)

Totally agree Mo whoever used those words is a coward, and if admin are complicit in allowing that sort of comment from a mod what does it say about them

The DCUK management have been given countless opportunities to debate the issues we have raised over the years, they have always declined, as have their stooge's Phoenix and Noblehead. They prefer to thread lock, delete members posts, alter members posts, and ban. This is because the forum was set up as a commercial enterprise, i.e. to make money. As we have shown in recent times the forum management is looking to align or sell out to big pharma, and there is very little money to be made in low carbing.
Now, making money I can understand, hence the ludicrous dietary information pushed by the outfits on the big pharma payroll, but what motivates the likes of Phoenix et al ? how sick does it get ?
