Hi, i hope you dont mind me starting this thread, im sure some find these stoopid, but i like them, i look at facebook alot although i never talk, and i often see these, maybe its because its a way of saying profound things in a nice way that i am incapable of, but anyway i figured when i see one i like or has meaning i could share it here and invite anyone else who likes em to do the same, hope its not too pathetic for anyone....

yesssss, the wife went to the doctors this week for back/kidney pain, she comes out with antibiotics.....i ask her what they found, she said, she has to wait for the tests to be sent off to find out, does that sound reasonable? not to me

Hmmmmmm. Yes I like it. I'll try to remember that one.

There are some brilliant quotes and speeches that have been made over the years, and we are fortunate to be reminded of many of them today with just a 'click of the mouse'.

Being of a sunny disposition I always tend to look at the more positive ones, but there is one for every occasion.

One of my favourite sayings / thoughts is 'smile and the world smiles with you' and couldn't we do with a few more sometimes? Out shopping earlier I met a very nice mother with her daughter, the daughter aged about 3yr was dressed in a lovely 'dressing up costume' I commented how lovely she looked. A big beaming smile and a polite thank you ....

My shopping trip was a pleasant experience and in my small corner, the world was smiling. Simple things can make a difference!

i like the one that goes something like "if someone dosent have a smile, give them one of yours" i tend to remember this when i recieve an unexpected smile from someone else, this always makes me feel great and i vow to smile at others more, then i forget and remember it again when i get smiled at

^^^how awkward for Sam trying hard not to glaze over for nearly an hour. It pees me off when she says that low carb cannot be adhered to as a long term way of eating. Maybe not if you are just trying to lose weight, but if your eyesight depends on it then you have more motivation. It is only restrictive if you have no imagination.

Carbsane aka the bloated blogger, totally bashit in my opinion. She stated on the infamous Jimmy Moore podcast she had been morbidly obese all her adult life except when she lost a shed load of weight on a low carb diet. She then started using "cheats" her word and went back to eating Lindt chocolates big time. She put all the weight back on and now has made slagging low carb a full time job. A complete failure with a million excuses.

Evelyn Kocur AKA Carbsane is a legend in her own lunch time. She spends her life stalking Jimmy Moore and Gary Taubes. If you ask her the time you get ten thousand words on the history of horology. Check out the link below to a Jimmy Moore podcast. Listen to Evelyn talk for over an hour without drawing breath. She has clearly mastered the trumpet players art of circular breathing. Marvel how Jimmy, no slouch in verbal communication is left almost dumb. Listen to the podcast and come back and tell me this woman is not one wave short of a ship wreck. BTW my good friend phoenix idolises her.

Not exactly inspirational but pretty much how it works.

Hits the nail on the head 100% I would say-Meanwhile,the 'Middle man' AKA 'Us' have the finger pointed at us for eating all the wrong things and not being compliant when we develop complications.

Seeing how she slagged Sam of on her blog I'm surprised he agreed to do this video  Like Eddie said she lost a lot of weight on LC but unable to hack it over the long term she gave it up,  her  reasoning now is that because it does not work for her it can't possibly work for anyone else   then again I don't think she's the full ticket.
