I recently went to a charity for some clothes and they gave me four pairs of a modern take on the 70s flare jeans.

I believe nowadays they are known as bellends.

They fit Ok, but should I where then? I don't really know what's in vogue these days so don't really what to be perceived as a wally hobbling down the high street in them.

I thought flares where well out of fashion.

The charity worker at the clothes bank said bellends, but bellbottoms sound more correct.

I know what the sexual connotation of the word bellend is, but what I was asking is, what's it reference is in regards to clothing?
