    Yes the HbA1c doesn't show the full picture when hypoglycemia can contribute to a lower A1c a CGM would give a better indication of BG control, sadly something that's out of the reach of most T2s

    There appear to be a great fluctuability between individuals and are not always are indicator of correct blood plasma levels. Now they are using it solely for diagnosis and treatment it could end with many patients been treated incorrectly.

    Yes IMO A1c is like Friedwaldised LDL, a kind of handwave in the general direction of what may actually be occurring. Mine went down when I got my postprandial spikes under control, and indication of how long I spent with post-postprandial low glucose.
