    I especially like these papers because a lot of "low carb" studies have obviously been tweaked, as the do not show anything like the results seen in all those "just anecdotes" we are all familiar with. When trigs do not drop through the floor and HDL does not increase there is something fishy going on.

    The Virta studies show pretty much what we expect to occur.

    Now that do you think will happen?

    1) dieticians will studiously ignore this

    2) they will condemn it

    Nicely put!

    Frankly everything they do could be done for free, but I don't begrudge them making money if it means they can publish their results in a way that makes them hard to ignore. Basically they are converting anecdotes into data.
