I'm not sure about the solid food! My youngest had been learning first aid at Cubs. A couple of days later I was eating a crust of bread (I wasn't diabetic then!) and choked, I couldn't breathe. He thumped me on the back and yay it worked, it took him a while to stop thumping me though! So I think you're right about solid foods. You shouldn't eat them when you're on your own anyway.

Yes, normally. If it's not the middle of the night. Ummmm I see what you're saying, but still yes.

Depends on the 14 year old, time of day, location ? Too many variables.

All I am saying is that nobody deserves to be murdered, regardless of the circumstances. Nobody.

Of course. No sane person would disagree with you.

Don't go, I've risk assessed things and you're safer at a keyboard. If you go, you may trip and hurt yourself :-)

They deserve to face justice, but not to be murdered

define face justice, what should the people who beheaded him deserve? to be put in a cell with an xbox? or being put to death by lethal injection?

I'd say let 'em rot in a Dungeon for the rest of their lives-kill 'em and they get what they want...Martyrdom.

I think I should back out of this thread. One of my sisters recently went to work in a primary school in the middle east. Does she deserve a kick in the fanny? Yes. Does she deserve to have her head hacked off? No.

What do you mean worse than that is OK?
Aren't you behaving as badly as them if you want innocents to be beheaded?

Not looking to wind anyone up, but this thread has got ridiculous in my opinion. Alan Henning was a good man who wanted to help people far less fortunate than himself. He paid a terrible price, but will ever be remembered as a hero and a brave man. The man who killed him is not a soldier, he has no honour, and is a gutless murdering psychopath, who will be forever damned. People will forget him within a week of justice catching up with him, and it will, that's a certainty.
