    OMGWTF???

Normally I record all my TV and jump through the adverts and "coming shortly" blurbs between programmes.

I hit something in an ad break that made me spool back and watch it, and I really wish I hadn't - a TV ad for Diabetes UK featuring a bunch of fat grinning people and a new bunch of recipes (brought to you in partnership with Tescos)

That made me go and look here

    https://www.diabetes.org.uk/Guide-to-diabetes/Recipes/

I feel sick and all my toes have vanished Sad

So after decades DUK are finally starting to admit they might not have been as right as they always claimed they were. Well, it's a step towards accepting science, and history.

I also spotted a few recipes on the ADA site that had fewer carbs than their usual double figures. What was that horrendous dish they put on Facebook and rapidly disappeared after a massive number of complaints? Something like 86g carbs per slice of pudding?

"Like you I record most of the programmes I watch and give the ads a miss don't recall seeing the ad though, just checked DUK's youtube channel it's not on there yet will watch out for it "

May be too late, it was in something I recorded a few weeks back and only just got around to watching. I couldn't see anything about it on the DUK site.
