Brexit day tomorrow and about time. No doubt the remoaners will be hanging out at the failing Guardian and Independent newspapers for the rest of their lives, with Farron, Clegg, Blair, Mandelson and other upright paragons of truth and honour leading them on. One for the knuckle dragging racist bigots who voted to leave, God bless 'em.

Re: Brexit day tomorrow.
im a remoaner, i hope to christ I'm wrong but i fear for our future,
not because i like or want to be in europe,
maybe in the future this will be a good thing, I'm pretty sure that when the country voted to join they never expected to be punished if we ever decided to leave
but for now, I'm afraid for our economy, I'm afraid for my business which is import only and i am already feeling the bad effects, everything we import has gone up 10-20% we therefore have to pass some of that on, this means we are more expensive and are earning less
I dot think we should ever have been given a vote, you knuckle draggers may have a few amongst you that understood what they were voting for but most in my opinion were voting based on lies or ignorance or both
for me it feels like a step backwards in evolution, i kinda like the idea that we could become a human race that feels like we are all the same and eventually accept each other, this feels like a step away from that
I do however think european unelected government was awful in its current state so I'm not sure about any of my theories, maybe this is for the best, i bloody hope so, but next time i think we should leave important decisions to the clever folks that were elected to make such important choices, not the likes of me
we are all along for the ride now either way

"m a remoaner, i hope to christ I'm wrong but i fear for our future, not because i like or want to be in europe"
I have no fear about my rapidly diminishing future, it's my kids and grandchildren I fear for. I want them to have the same chances in life we had. To live in a country where the laws are made by elected politicians, not un-elected bureaucrats in Brussels. If you don't like or want to be in the EU we agree on that point. We will of course still be in Europe, I have nothing against any Europeans or anyone else.

My Brother in the tire business imports a huge amount of product from the EU, price rises have not effected him because his competitors are also having to increase prices. Your customers are very well off I suspect, a price increase won't effect them to much I suspect.

Harmony within the human race is never going to happen, not until all religions are banned. Since the beginning of recorded history, religion has been the cause of countless wars and the death of countless people. Next on the list comes greed, we are almost all guilty on that point.
Brexit won't make any difference to the likes of us, we started out from very humble beginnings, we have had to work very hard for everything we have, nothing is going to change on that front. It's always been survival of the fittest, and fortune favours the brave, and those prepared to get off their arses and work.

Re: Brexit day tomorrow.
I find so many people argue a case, and before they know it, they are talking complete bollocks, not aimed at you for sure. So many lose sight of the fundamentals. The British were conned into joining the EU. We were told it was going to be a trading agreement, tariff free exchange of goods and services etc. Sounds cool, but what we have seen is a gradual creep towards one government controlling all EU citizens. Now if that one government had done a good job I would want in, but they have blown it big time. As Mikhail Gorbachev said some time ago, why the countries of the EU wanted to copy the totally failed USSR was beyond his understanding. Don't forget Angela Merkel et al are staunch communists.
It's all a commie plot I tell ya

Re: Brexit day tomorrow.
Our posts crossed Andy
Brexit day arrives meanwhile over at the Guardian some top rated comments.
"Agreed, not even the brexit supporters have ever been able to present a united vision of brexit complete with positive reasons for leaving the EU. All we ever hear about are things they don't like, never any vision of what they think will improve......and now we are expected to unite behind this shower whilst accepting that our citizenship and tights have been stripped from us.
There is not a cats chance in Hell that I will unite behind or support brexit."
"This is the stupidest decision this country has ever made. I will not unite behind it.
Thus country is finished."
"Brace yourselves for screeds of truculent crowing from exultant Brexiteers.
I take no satisfaction in the rude awakening that is lurking in wait for them"
Meanwhile in my place today it's celebration time. This music fits my mood today. Onwards and upwards UK, will Scotland be staying with us? or will we have to carry the Jocks for another 300 years.
