    Turn it up

yes I've been revisiting the weirdnesses of my past on YouTube again

saw these guys live several times. The only good thing to come out of Apartheid was that some of the finest South African musicians decamped to the UK, Europe and the States, the Blue Notes who later devolved into Chris McGregor's Brotherhood Of Breath, Dudu Pukwana's Spear, Johhny Dyani's Witchdoctor's Son and a bunch of other groups along with our local musicians. Then there was Hugh Masakela, Miriam Makeba, Abdullah Ibrahim (Dollar Brand as was) and more I have forgotten in the mists of time, ye Gods nearly fifty years ago.
