Reminds me of the parrot in a village shop. It repeats things because, well, it's a parrot. Dieticians don't have that excuse.

True but for once she's right DCUK is a money making outfit and not a charitable organisation, though she still talks an offal lot of tripe

She is the only person, I have ever encountered on the blogosphere who can make Bonkers appear sane. freakout She has wasted the thick end of ten years hanging around the diabetes world, saying nothing of any use to anyone, a considerable achievement when you think about it. The staggering fact is, she has learnt absolutely nothing regarding the safe control of BG for diabetics, in my opinion. Not hard to see why dietitians are becoming totally irrelevant to the average diabetic.

Interesting there were no nay-sayers on that DCUK thread. Can you imagine her response? It would involve carbs and rugby, no doubt about that. Probably her laptop too.

Think about this - the Government's recommendation is for 230 - 300g carbs including 70 - 90g "sugar". Any doctor failing to comply could have faced disciplinary action, up until recently.

Yet the same doctor giving their patients three Glucose Tolerance Tests per day would probably be struck off. Where's the difference?
