Oh bugger, I missed it! After that BBC abortion about diabetes I was unwilling to subject myself to another dose of media bollocks and it seems I missed a sensible one for a change.
Never mind, I was catching up on some blogs and Twitter, among which I found
http://diabetestimes.co.uk/low-carb-diet-saves-nhs-4m-in-diabetes-costs/"Diabetes.co.uk was the first community forum where people were able to openly share their experiences or discuss life with diabetes including low carb lifestyles due to the fact that the diet sits outside of NICE guidelines which meant other platforms discouraged or removed their conversations."
Lying bastard, I was reading this stuff on the ADA Forum over a decade ago, where people were grossly improving their health by eating the exact opposite of what the ADA recommended, and on the Forum That Must Not Be Named, and several other places where strangely low carbers were NOT routinely banned or attacked by low carb antis and ranting dieticians.
I wonder if the New! Improved!! Forum would like to invite Jay Wortman back?
