Called in for lunch at my local carvery yesterday and look what was waiting for me after my meal  much to the amusement of a few onlookers taking pics, I had to herd them away from my car for fear of running the ducklings over  Shocked I got them to the grass verge on the car park the Duck wasn't impressed gave me a good quacking  Laughing

I'm sure I could find a recipe for duck ...

Seeing your photo's reminded me of so many happy times walking around lakes seeing the ducks and geese.

I also remember a few years back when we lived near a stream at certain times of the year the ducks would wander up into our front garden - quite fun to see them - we were always concerned they would get back to the water ok, hope they did.

This time of year is great for seeing ducklings, chicks, lambs etc Smile

    All the best Jan

Ah bless! Yes I've seen the first mallard ducklings, and some greylag goslings.
