Re: Butter Makes Your Pants Fall Off
Great find Graham. Check Bob out who gives a master class on why we get fat and how to control type two diabetes. Well worth your time, share this video around and put years on somebodies life.

Re: Butter Makes Your Pants Fall Off
One of the best videos I've seen and Bob explains everything so well.
Certainly try and take 29 mins and 2 seconds out of your time today to sit and watch, in fact why not share it with others too.
All the best Jan

Re: Butter Makes Your Pants Fall Off
Very good, although I kinda wished he'd spent more time looking at me instead of the ceiling....
Bit tied to his autocue I suspect.
Good information and very logical, even though a tad repetetive. I watched 'be your own diet guru' too.
I did LCHF for 3 years, but never lost an inch. Did I not eat enough fat? Were my carbs a tad too high? Did I not drink enough water? Dunno, but it didn't work as well as I hoped. I probably should have eaten more veg. That seems to be good for my bod, and helps with the inevitable constipation that seems to come with LCHF for some of us.
Maybe i need to sit down and really analyse it all. The Diabetes Miracle Diet is low-carb, but not by any stretch of the magination can be called high fat. Its a bit odd. She states most protein sources need to be low fat - lean meat, low fat bacon, cheese, etc., but then gives fats as 'free' food. She does suggest 'lite' butter and (yuk) margarine, 'whipping cream' instead of double, but then lists horrible veg oils, canola, rapeseed etc. Plus olives/oil and avocados.
The idea with that seems to be to stop the liver storing glycogen so the body is forced to burn its own fat as fuel when you are not eating. I rather think that VLCHF would do the same though.

Shades of "Last Tango in Paris"?
