    http://www.diabetes.co.uk/forum/threads/finally-good-news-for-all-diabetics-has-anyone-tried-this.87690/

In my opinion the fact that this thread and link to this "Cure" is allowed a place on a diabetes forum board beggars belief! Evil or Very Mad Besides the fact that it's obviously complete crap-The last thing confused newbies or the parents of a newly diagnosed type 1 diabetic child or a diabetic teenager perhaps who is desperately fed up and struggling with managing levels and insulin dosing needs to see during a very dark time in their lives is this crock!! Haven't they considered that someone who is insulin dependant might believe this is the holy grail, worth trying out and stop their insulin risking DKA?

The other night I witnessed a member literally have a post pulled for congratulating another member on their improved fasting levels yet the snake oil link is OK apparently!! Mr Panesar,It's about time you did something about your current moderation team and sooner rather than later!

There can be no greater hypocrisy illustrated at the diabetes.co.uk forum than this complete dross (see screenshot from PDF), which has been allowed to stand. Yet we have seen highly informative threads locked (thereby disappearing into oblivion) by the forum admin (a non diabetic) such as the Insulin thread locked for scaremongering.

Link to one of the most important threads in the history of the forum here  http://www.diabetes.co.uk/forum/threads/recent-insulin-study.50729/

The great irony is the fact this information came to our attention from a sales mailshot sent by the management of the forum of flog. How they shot themselves in the foot with that one.

I see what you mean-Surely only a staff member could delete all of the text out of a post as ordinary members have to leave at least 1 character...Hmmmm Cool

My thoughts exactly when Ally5555, SarahQ AKA CarbsRok deleted their posts they always had to leave 1 character to clear the text out completely requires a mod or admin.

I am sure it is only a coincidence, but so often when we highlight to dross at the flog, the thread rapidly gets locked and posts deleted. And what thanks do we get for modding their forum, Zilch. rofl
