What a forum ought to be.
I don't know what others may think, but for me this forum is like a friendly local pub. A place where people know you and you know them. A place to hang out and have some fun. Some interesting conversations, with friends, maybe learning a thing or to, and going home happy and feeling good. A place where people can disagree and not end up in punch up. We maybe small, but that suits me fine. It's quality that counts not quantity, and we have some of the best and most knowledgeable diabetics around. And remember, we are getting a lot of reads, not everyone wants to join a forum or post, but our message is being read by thousands every month.

Jeez, one week with your hand on the tiller and it's gone to your head. Have you considered a mods job elsewhere?

Dream on, only carboholic, duplicitous, lying, big pharma shills make it to a mods job at the flog these days. But hey, as our new members prove, their loss is our gain. Rant over, have a good week all.

I've only just crossed the first one off and I'm back at work next week? so I would do your fridge but it will be July / August next year.
I have to work up to it you see.

Double whisky please. Cleaned and sorted out freezer. Found pork chops at the bottom with a label of March 2012. I swear the bag moved.

Re: What a forum ought to be.
Stop it! You're making me feel guilty.
Five years since my mother died and I STILL haven't rebuilt the kitchen or the bathroom, or redecorated. I'm thinking seriously about getting in some professionals to clean the place from top to bottom and do all the work, while I emigrate temporarily.
ps DON'T whatever you do, ever, look BEHIND the fridge . . .

I DAREN'T! That is just way too scary it would require a case of whisky.
We never fitted kick boards. I wanted them but he was going to fit them soon. 12 years later- I daren't look under the cupboards or sink.
Time goes by so quick doesn't it?
I think you'd get on well with my fella. He's always going to do it soon!

Re: What a forum ought to be.
Hahashaha no she was cremated. I did put some ashes in the garden, but the Things Behind The Fridge are all non-human, although they might be evolving. Likewise the Things That Live Behind The Computer in among all the cables appear to have more legs than they used to.
