I don't know what others may think, but for me this forum is like a friendly local pub. A place where people know you and you know them. A place to hang out and have some fun. Some interesting conversations, with friends, maybe learning a thing or to, and going home happy and feeling good. A place where people can disagree and not end up in punch up. We maybe small, but that suits me fine. It's quality that counts not quantity, and we have some of the best and most knowledgeable diabetics around. And remember, we are getting a lot of reads, not everyone wants to join a forum or post, but our message is being read by thousands every month.

Dream on, only carboholic, duplicitous, lying, big pharma shills make it to a mods job at the flog these days. But hey, as our new members prove, their loss is our gain. Rant over, have a good week all.

Double whisky please. Cleaned and sorted out freezer. Found pork chops at the bottom with a label of March 2012. I swear the bag moved.

This is why I don't do housework - it is too stressful.

Stop it! You're making me feel guilty.

Five years since my mother died and I STILL haven't rebuilt the kitchen or the bathroom, or redecorated. I'm thinking seriously about getting in some professionals to clean the place from top to bottom and do all the work, while I emigrate temporarily.

Hahashaha no she was cremated. I did put some ashes in the garden, but the Things Behind The Fridge are all non-human, although they might be evolving. Likewise the Things That Live Behind The Computer in among all the cables appear to have more legs than they used to.
