I'm trying to post a topic about vitamin B12 in General Discussion but it won't post. I've tried rebooting the iPad, closing and reopening Safari, but it still won't post. Just stays on the same screen. Do I need to shout and stamp my feet because I can't post anything, or might there be a logical explanation?

Very strange-it wouldn't let me do it either a few minutes ago but I've just done a test topic a moment ago and it went through fine-could you copy your content and then try again for me?

Sorry to hear a couple of posts have disappeared, so annoying. Perhaps if it is a detailed post, copy and paste into a word doc or similar just in case ? I've not had this happen but if I'd wrote a nice long post, I'd be disappointed.
I don't know why this has happened, I'm pretty poor with IT. Obviously if this became a regular occurrence, we would have to look at our forum hosts in more detail.

Sorry that some of the posts seemed to have gone up in a puff of smoke, the only time that happened to me was when I clicked 'Multi quote' instead of 'Quote' and the post vanished, might be worth copying the post first if it's a large or important one and also eddie noticed that if he previewed his posts first before submitting them-they never disappeared which may be worth trying also...As the forum is hosted for free there may be a few 'Quirks' and 'Gremlins' every now and then which are not visible in the admin control panel but if the situation were to get worse we will contact the platform host providers for some support as Mo said above. Wink

Post's that disappear are probably down to some glitch in the forum software, the fact that it has happened to a few of us on here it could rule out an error on our part or could it Neutral the trouble is Diana walked accusing the mods of censoring her post which given whats happened to us is obviously not the case.

Anyway my solution is to highlight my post and copy then it remains on the clipboard just in case I have the same problem again Idea

    ‘Mediterranean diet’ translated as pizza

BRITONS have decided that pizza is the main component of a Mediterranean diet.

Mother-of-two Emma Bradford said: “It’s great that doctors are saying pizza is the key to longevity because I adore it.

“Healthy living is all about simple, fresh ingredients like dough and spicy beef.

“Natural oils, which can be seen oozing plentifully out of a cheese-stuffed Domino’s crust, are vital for a strong heart.

“And if we prefer something lighter there’s always pasta and big fancy ice creams.”

    Only in America ?

"Okay, pizza is not actually a vegetable. Delicious, yes. But vegetable? Nope. The scant serving of tomato paste in school lunch pizza does, however, count as one half-cup serving of vegetables, thanks to the final version of the House-Senate agriculture spending bill.

The USDA was hoping to change that, though. Under a proposed rule, a vegetable serving of tomato paste would have to be a whole one half-cup serving, not two tablespoons, as it is now.

But, opponents of the rule argued, that would render a slice of pizza inedible. "It would basically be swimming in tomato sauce," said Corey Henry, vice president of communications at the American Frozen Food Institute. "No school kid in his right mind would want to eat that."

Rightfully so. Henry told TPM that tomato paste is a "nutritiously dense" food. "It's a mischaracterization to say there's no nutritional value in that slice of pizza," Henry said, adding that the USDA's efforts essentially were trying to rid school lunches of pizza."

Come on Lewis you can do it .....do you think I'd better get the champagne chilling to celebrate Question

Will you be watching / following the race?

I will definitely be following this race weekend!! Very Happy I know Lewis can do this for the second time around as in my opinion if you take away all the problems with the cars and unfair penalties he's endured over the years(for maneuvers that Schumacher would have never been penalised for)-No-one else out there can touch him I reckon! I remember seeing footage of his Formula 2 days when he'd start in last place and just eat all the other drivers for breakfast and romp home in 1st like it was a walk in the park! Very Happy Lewis reignited my love for the sport after a few years of being so bored of it and the predictability of it all that I didn't bother ever watching...Go Hammie!! cheers

Maybe after the race we'll get to know the movement of drivers to other teams? Vettel to Ferrari? Alonso to MacLaren? Where will Jenson Button end up?

Not too sure about David Coultards' colour of trousers ?   lol!

Hello - I'm back in circulation as the saying goes. Sometimes family matters just have to take precedence but all is well .....and I've now realised it's only four weeks 'til Christmas Day santa

Most of the family are well organised and some have wrapped presents and safely put them away. I only hope they remember where mine is ? lol!

Anyway I think I've got a lot of reading to catch up on various posts .....see you later.

    All the best Jan
