    Good Morning All - It's 1st February, where did January go?

    Hope you don't mind but I've started a new thread for the February Check In and Chat.

    I see last night (on January's Chat) Andy was talking about 'Clash of the Clans' - don't know if anyone watches this - I don't, but I did watch 'Spiral' last night thought it another good programme.

    Anyway you know what February's all about ......... only 14 more days to go and it's Valentines Day  affraid

    A shiny new thread sunny

    I am easing myself gently into the new month. Sitting at the coffee table chopping veg for soup while watching Andy Murray. Still in my nightie.

    I am now maxing out on OTC pain killers for my rib. Not ideal as my brain is now made of cotton wool, but I think it will be better in the long run. I have also started taking a calcium supplement.

    The snow is melting. It's all good Very Happy

    I was maxed out on the painkillers from the end of week 1 to the end of week 3. The first week wasn't too bad. After week 3 it got much better and I managed without painkillers at all.

    I'm just taking a break from watching Andy Murray. My family are way too noisy and it's given me a headache Rolling Eyes

    He blew it as soon as he started ranting out loud in the 3rd set-Proper old school Andy Murray that was-Thought he'd moved on from that...Very disappointing. No

    Seems to be a lot of football talk in the media today the transfer window etc. What gets me is the extremely high amounts of money that is banded around. Are footballers really worth this huge amount? Is it just football that money seems so ludicrously high?

    On a positive note I see Arsenal won 5 - 0 yesterday my dad has a happy smile on his face .... no doubt Zand does to?

    Anyway off out shortly dressing up warm for a stroll and a bit of shopping, bargains here I come  sunny

    Oh boy so did I! One of my first matches was Arsenal v Derby and I kept my eyes on Petit the whole time!

    From Football to Formula 1 ....... I thought this may have been the year for Lewis to marry Nicole - but I see from reports this morning that this on/off relationship is off again......Oh Dear.

    Will it be back on again by Valentine's Day? Time will tell ........

    Well my dad has already mentioned could I please ring him before 7.30 tonight !
    Reason being he'll be watching the six nations rugby !
    I'm so pleased he still loves watching and following sport ..... although he finds it difficult to 'get his head around' the very large amounts involved in transfer money ..... as do I ?

    I wonder will anyone else be following the rugby ?

    As a child I used to love skipping ...... wonder if I can still skip ........ must try it next time I see the grandchildren.
