    Yes I would agree with both of those things. I had broken sleep for years (for various reasons, then it became habit) and I'm sure it helped me pile on the pounds. It's a relief to be able to sleep for 8 hours most nights now.

    Thanks for the link Mo.

    I think many do not realise that a good sleep pattern helps in so many areas of our life / health ..... and many do struggle with this. Sometimes we are our own worst enemy staying up late socialising, dancing, watching films, blogging, foruming etc .... but for many sleep does not always come easy.

    Are we all programmed to sleep 8 hours? Perhaps not - as some seem to get by with 6, but I think it's the regular sleep pattern that can help, not always easy if you are a shift worker.

    The other thing I find helps me is to have a good breakfast (not toast or cereals) but egg, bacon, mushrooms ..... again this does not suit everyone.

    Another thing I would say that is important for me now is the choice that living the LCHF was for me a good choice, and if Eddie had not been diagnosed a Type 2 diabetic this may not have happened.

    Only once I dreamt an original idea, it was an amazing idea which was gonna change the world, I could hardly wait for the morning to share my fantastic idea, fell asleep and couldn't remember a single word, only that I'd had it lol very frustrating
