I'm all for it until next week when they say 3 cups of coffee a day causes cancer.

Let's have big banners saying 'observational studies are not evidence of anything'.

Well as I'm more of a tea drinker than coffee I'm glad the article mentioned tea.

"Three cups of tea or coffee a day could lower the risk of diabetes, according to a new study of nearly 9,000 people. Regular coffee or tea drinkers tend to have smaller waist and BMI measurements than people who have less than a cup a day of either.

Coffee - but not tea - also appeared to be linked with lower blood pressure, though it's not clear why. (The new finding contradicts previous studies linking coffee to higher blood pressure.)

A large waist, high BMI and high blood pressure all contribute to metabolic syndrome, a cluster of symptoms that raise the risk of diabetes, heart disease and stroke. "

For almost seven years, I have asked medical professionals and naysayers, how do I maintain non diabetic BG levels on two Metformin other than low carb ? The silence has been deafening !

If you are a regular reader you know I do like my cup of tea!

But for those of you who like to drink coffee - how about this suggestion from Diet Doctor site.

    "Keto cinnamon coffee
A cosy, warm brew that is perfect for the holidays. Whip up this keto coffee-meets-cinnamon combo and enjoy as a warm-you-up treat or dessert. Simply luxurious..."

    See here
