    I thought I might have to see the doctor, but then I realised I WAS COLD!

    Something that hadn't happened for so long I forgot what it felt like.

    We had a fair bit of rain, of the productive type without the horrendous floods in France, and the temperature sensor in the car had been stuck at 33 C for so long I thought it had been welded.

    It was actually substantially below 20 for a while but today back up to 21 - 24 which is totally bearable.

    You should be so lucky Chris, it was 10°c here a couple of days ago in the am.
    The hot weather has been over for two weeks and all has been green again for nearly two weeks.

    We have 16 degrees at the moment, possibly rising to 18, and it's drizzling with rain ...

    Escaped the worst here Saturday was fine with the rain only arriving around 5 pm, got the grass cut and a few other jobs in the garden and it was pleasant enough to sit out for a couple of hours after. Same story today after overnight rain it's been ok hazy sunshine and reasonably warm but the rain appeared again at 7 pm.

    I went out and sat in the sun at the Hen Reedbeds for a while, it was warm but not hot. An oncoming storm scuppered my plans to walk on one if the commons so I skirted it and walked on some farmland. Just as I got home another thunderstorm struck.

    Yes the green is now reappearing among the brown.
