    Not just the doctors either, the dieticians we all know about, and some of the researchers.

    But above them, the likes of Ethics Committees who dictate what research shall and shall not be permitted, and (some) journal editors who dictate what papers may or may not be published, and of course the organisations that employ them or register them.
